Kintamani is a name of countryside located in the hill and the beautiful panorama surround it. We can see beautiful panorama from Kintamani to overview the active volcano of Batur Mount and wide Lake of Batur in a valley. It is situated in the plateau area with cool weather surround it. . Kintamani is usually approached from the south with 2 routes in from Ubud (45 minutes), and one each from Besakih (1 hour) and Bangli (30 minutes). There is also an easy way in from the north via a turning off the coast road east of Singaraja (1 hour).

Kintamani is beautifully seen at the day time around 10:00 am until 15:00 pm when the weather fine. We can see all of panorama around the lake. We can see large lake, mount Batur. The Ulun Danu Temple
The northwestern part of the rim has the famous Pura Ulun Danau Batur, it is one of the 9 directional temples of Bali. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of the lake, Ida Batara Dewi Ulun Danu (Dewi Ulun Danu), who is worshipped as the controlling deity of the irrigation and water system of Bali. One can also enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Batur from the eastern shore of the lake at Trunyan and also soak in the idyllic setting of the villages, Kedisan, Buahan and Abang. Some of the tourists usually take a boat ride to Trunyan village, one of the ancient village as the native tribe of Bali which still exist.
Museum Gunung Api Batur (Batur Volcano Museum)
This is a place for vulcano geographical reserch for Mount Batur. The Batur museum has some wonderful geographical applications of the pacific ring of fire and Mount Batur’s eruptions. There is also a telescope to view the mountain and one gets to see films and animations explaining the whole process of volcanic eruption. The museum consists of three floors. The first floor is a lobby. In this area, there are graphic paintings which tell the myth of Java and Bali's mountains. The story is about the transfer of some mountain peaks in East Java to Bali by Nala based on an order by Hyang Bedawang Pasupati. After arriving in Bali, the peak of Mount Semeru in Nala's right hands becomes Mount Agung, and the other which is on his left hands becomes Mount Batur. The second floor is the place of some eruption remains of the volcano. The third floor is observation room to observe and note the activities of the volcano.
Trekking
Batur give the best place for trekking. It has a lot to offer for serious trekkers and one can choose treks lasting up to 10 hours. Ensure that the guides belong to the Association of Mount Batur Trekking Guides. The trek usually taken is through the pleasant shady forests of Toya Bungkah. One can also try to scale Mount Abang on the south eastern edge of the caldera. This is a popular trek before dawn where tourists can get a beautiful view of sunrise and also avoid the foggy and mid morning mist. The fact that the volcano is still active is shown by guides who cook an egg on rocks heated by lava.
Cycling
Cycling will drop you to get close with the local people and have some talks at once. Just feel the real atmosphere and discover the life screen of the Balinese. Natural Hot Spring of Toya Devasya
Near the lakeside in the Toya Bungkah village you can also enjoy the pleasantly warm waters of the Toya Devasya hot springs. You can also visit some of the market gardens full of cool climate vegetables. Nowadays, there is a large swimming facility, called Tirta Sanjiwani, it was set in a lovely garden just above the lake. In hence, two hot spring pools plus a huge regular swimming pool can be used for bathing.

Kintamani tourism area offers many culinary choices ranging from very simple and cheap places with good local food to big fancy restaurants, which cater to tour groups from the expensive hotels and restaurant on the coast. The local lake fish is a tasty variety called mujahir fish, available fried or grilled. It's best fried crisp-more of the fish is edible. A good place for lunch (and one of the few on the rim open for evening meals) with the lake view. The average price is sometimes changing but not so expensive but they are geared up for tour group buffet lunches. Can you imiagine, how nice enjoying meal with open view of Lake and Mount Batur.
