From olden times, Jimbaran is already well known for being a famous fishing village.
Here there is a Fish Market where you can see and buy all sorts of fish, as well as do a cooking class to experience as the local living .
You'll also see many shops before you get into the fish market itself.

Just about few steps before the fish market, you will find some restaurant which offer for seafood menu in different varieties and style of cooking.

On the beach, you can spot many fishing boats that have just returned from fishing.
The market is very crowded, you'll see many kinds of fish. I saw a small shark!

There are huge lobsters and varieties of clams to choose from, as well as
shrimp, squid and crabs.
You can ask the seller to clean up your fish without additional charge at all.

The price depends on weight. They use a retro balance to get the price.
Of course, you can bargain the price.

You'll see other local vendors who sell clothing and miscellaneous goods .
The market is located in Kedonganan village between the airport and Jimbaran. Usually, the market reaches peak hours at 4 AM – 8AM and become inactive after the few hours, but the fish market becomes crowded again in the evening. Have fun walking around the beach in the evening, and take a look at the market!
