Bali Zoo Park offers numerous enormous and small animal, situated in Singapadu village, Ubud district belong to Gianyar regency. The visitors just need to take trip for fifteen minutes from the central of Ubud while from Kuta Tourism area can be reached around one hour. The park covers area about three hectares with lush vegetation inside as simulating the animals’ natural habitat. It is home for more than 350 creatures of animal species, from birds (cassowaries, peacocks, and Bali Starlings), mammals (primates, deer, camels, kangaroos, and regal Sumatran tigers) to reptiles (iguanas, pythons, green snakes, and Komodo dragons) and other rare animals, some of which are endemic to Indonesia.

This park is the great wildlife conservatory for the best collection of Indonesian endemic animals and other countries interesting animals. There are numerous of amazing mammals preserved in Bali Zoo Park, such as white tiger, Sumatran tiger, lion, binturong, black phanter, camel, deers, sun bear, gibbons, orangutan and many more completed with beautiful tropical garden. Animals that have dry scaly skin and are 'cold-blooded' vertebrates are called reptiles. The reptiles’ collections here are komodo dragon, crocodile, iguana, snake, turtle. The major way reptiles differ from mammals and birds is that they are 'cold-blooded'. Reptiles can only breathe air and do not possess gills.

The others of animals collection is birds. Most birds are diurnal (only active during the day) although some have become specifically adapted to a nocturnal lifestyle (only active during the night). Depending upon the species, birds feed on a variety of food sources; nectar, seeds, insects, rodents, fish and some birds however all have specific adaptations to aid in their individual feeding technique. Birds have beautiful feathers and amazing sound, they can imitate human sound or sing a short song. Bali Zoo Park Bali preserves for starling, cassowary, bird of paradise, hornbil, peacock, and many other Asian birds.

The Bali Starling is one of endemic animal to the island of Bali, where it is the islands only surviving endemic vertebrate species. The Bali bird starling was used as the fauna symbol of Bali; in which the local people called ‘Jalak Bali’. If, you want to have more adventure and experience in the park, you can join the staff to feed the animals. For a more light-hearted animal encounter, interact with some of more tame animals will be unforgettable memory in your trip fro example with little monkeys or little birds or have a peacock sit on top of your head. The animal lives in a cage, so travelers can observe it at close distance.

The park is also completed with restaurant which serves a varied selection of meat, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. Recently, Bali Zoo Park opens night tour package to see the animals at night with a Night at The Zoo. In addition, Bali Zoo Park also arranges a wildlife attraction program to feed animals, ride horses, view wildlife and intellectual skills. The package of ‘Night at the Zoo’ will give different atmosphere to explore the park at night at once the visitors can see night life of animals.
